Tuesday, June 10th, 2008As we know, Dragon Boat Festival (also called Duan Wu Festival) is a famous Chinese Traditional feta day. People believe that this day is set up for commemorating a great poet Qu Yuan(屈原).
In this day, kids will go to hill in the early morning and collect drops of dew on the leaves. Kids use them to wash their eyes. People will take sachet with themselves to keep from illness and mosquito.
One of the most important habit is eating Zongzi (TzungTzu, 粽子). In olden days, every family will make Zongzi themselves, but nowadays Chinese people is more and more busy, and no time to do such a heavy and complicated work. Instead of making them, they often buy Zongzi in supermarket.
